This replica of the original statue, which stands above a fountain in Verona, was a gift from the city of Verona to Munich. The Theatinerkirche is a copying of Sant’Andrea della Valle in Rome. It is the first church north of the Alps to be built in the Italian late Baroque style and shines with its striking yellow coloured facade, as well as the richly decorated interior in white stucco.

The Siegestor on Leopoldstraße, also known as the Triumphal Arch and Peace Memorial, is the most striking building within the Italian-inspired architectural ensemble in Munich. The gate was built in the 19th century and is topped by a bronze Bavaria with a lion quadriga.
