Fresh, close to the city, recommended.
The former Hotel Herzog is now called Gio, has fresh new rooms, nice staff, and uses the former vaulted restaurant as a breakfast room, as well as the spacious Mediterranean courtyard. Goetheplatz with subway is in sight. Breakfast buffet was absolutely fine for 12.- per person, nothing was lacking.

Nice central hotel.
Everything is fine at the Hotel Gio. Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast (you can book spontaneously). My room facing the courtyard was clean, pleasantly quiet and equipped with everything the short vacationer needs, even a small balcony was there. And throughout the house greets Bella Italia.

Kleines Hotel mit italienischem Flair an sehr guter Lage nahe dem Goetheplatz. Wir wurden vom Partnerhotel im Hotel Gio einquartiert. Zimmer wurden im Vergleich zum Rest renoviert und waren sehr sauber. Tägliche Reinigung war top kann nichts bemängelt werden. Frühstück klein aber sehr fein und konnte im lauschigen Garten eingenommen werden. Garten wäre ein kleines Paradies.

Very nice hotel with pleasant Mediterranean atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff and a really good breakfast! First class location, because only about 150 m to the subway Goetheplatz. In the immediate vicinity you will find several restaurants and cafes as well as stores with everything for daily needs. We are really looking forward to our next stay at the Gio!

The Dolce Vita Hotel, not just a slogan!
Very centrally located hotel, subway station practically in front of the door. Many good dining options within a few minutes walk, we had booked with breakfast, this offered quite a decent selection. Nice courtyard to eat, you feel in the middle of the city like in Tuscany. Room is comfortable and modern, equipped with TV and rain shower and enough sockets.
